The whole team at Kiln Lane would like to thank you all for your patience and support throughout the Covid 19 pandemic.
Although we are returning to a more 'normal' way of life we must continue to be cautious and that is certainly true when attending healthcare appointments including those here where vulnerable category patients may be in attendance.
Restrictions in dentistry are slowly changing and masks are now voluntary when attending the practice, but we ask that you continue to wear them if able, adopt social distancing measures and use the hand sanitiser that is available on arrival so that we continue to protect our staff, vulnerable patients and to do our part in reducing the spread of Covid 19 that is still prevalent in St Helens.
We still ask that you cancel your appointment if you have a positive lateral flow test or if you feel unwell with any of the symptoms of coronavirus such as a new continuous cough, high temperature, any changes to your taste or smell then please call us to rearrange it.
As you can imagine, the knock-on effect of working for such a long time under such strict but necessary guidelines have meant the wait for routine appointments is longer than normal and ask that you continue to be patient. We will always see our members who need urgent appointments but still may not be able to book dental health examinations and hygiene visits together.
Finally, and on a personal note, thank you to our amazing staff team who have worked weekends, through lunch breaks and into the evening for the last two years. They have sacrificed so much family time and cancelled holidays (and still are) so that we can see as many of our patients as possible who require treatment and for this, we will always be grateful.

We offer consultations at our practice so you can discuss your concerns with one of our team. From here, we can develop a bespoke treatment plan to suit your individual needs.
Of course, we always try to help non-registered patients who are suffering with an emergency and often have same day appointments. Just call our front of house team on 01744 25776 and they will be happy to help.
Yes, we have wheelchair access to the building, all downstairs consulting rooms and bathroom facilities.
Yes, you can. In fact we see lots of patients for one off treatments like composite bonding, tooth whitening, Implants and Invisalign.
We have appointments up to 6.45pm on Mondays and from 8am Tuesday to Friday.
Not at all. Although we do carry out a lot of cosmetic dentistry we also provide routine dental care too. In fact, our membership plans cover all of your routine dental health needs like regular check-up appointments, hygiene maintenance visits and even emergency visits.
All of our clinicians are trained to help anxious patients and there are lots of things we can do to help when you have an injection such as using a numbing gel on your gum beforehand. Please don’t avoid having the treatment you need – we’re here to help.
Now! Bringing your baby with you to your dental examination appointment instils good habits right from the start. At first, they may not even let us look at their teeth but when they’re ready they will happily climb on the dental chair. We always make children’s visits fun so that they look forward to seeing us.
You will have a provisional crown while your bespoke crown is being made at our laboratory.
Dental implants would be a treatment that you can explore. They are made from titanium and replace the roots of lost teeth so that we can place crowns, bridges or even dentures over the top.
Invisalign braces are great for straightening teeth, sometimes in as little as six months!
